Al Falah Enterprise

You can find Al Falah Enterprise on the second floor of a building along Abdul Rehman Street. If you know that area at all, you know how packed it gets. There are people everywhere, carts moving goods back and forth, and the sound of traffic never really stops. Being up on the second floor at number 295 gives us a little bit of a break from the noise of the pavement, but not much. The stairs are narrow, and we have to be careful when we are carrying boxes or supplies up and down. It is an old building, so it has that specific smell of concrete and paper. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea seller knows exactly what we want without us even asking. Our space is filled with stacks of stuff, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but we know where every single item is kept. We don't use any fancy digital systems to keep track of things; it’s mostly just memory and some old notebooks we keep on the desk. People come in and out all day long. It’s a lot of manual work, checking stock and talking to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just open the windows and wait for it to come back. It’s just how life goes in this part of the city. We aren’t looking to move because this street is where the action is.
