Al-Ameen Recruiting is located right in the Byculla Co-operative Housing Society, specifically at number 122. If you know the area, you know we are very close to Masina Hospital. It is a busy part of town, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work or the hospital. Our office isn’t one of those high-rise corporate glass buildings you see in the newer parts of Mumbai. We are part of the local community here. The housing society has a lot of character and history, and we’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time. Often, the hallways are filled with the sounds of the neighborhood, children playing or people chatting by the gates. We have a desk for everyone and enough chairs for when people come in to talk about jobs. It gets a bit crowded sometimes, but we prefer it that way over a cold, empty room. There is always a lot of paperwork on the desks because that is just the nature of what we do. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby in Byculla. We don’t spend much time on decorations. We just focus on the people who walk through our door looking for a way to move forward with their lives. It’s a plain office where we do the work that needs doing, day in and day out, near the hospital.
