Akshit Enterprises

We are located at number 7 in the Sharma Industrial Estate in Andheri East. It’s right next to the Kadri Temple, so we hear the bells ringing in the mornings and evenings. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of activity. There are trucks coming in and out, and the sound of machinery is pretty constant. Akshit Enterprises is a functional space. We’ve got high ceilings and concrete floors that are hard on the feet if you stand too long. It’s mostly used for storage and handling orders. We don't have a showroom or anything fancy like that. It’s just a place where work gets done. Most of our time is spent moving crates or checking lists against what’s on the pallets. The air gets a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby, so we have to wipe down the desks every single morning. We’ve got a small bench outside where we take our lunch breaks. It’s nice to sit there and watch the people going to the temple. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and leaks through the roof a bit, so we have to move things around quickly. It’s just a normal part of being in an older building. We don't mind it much. It’s a good spot for us, and we’ve been here long enough that we know all the other guys in the estate. We usually finish up by six.
