Akshay Traders

Akshay Traders is based out of Eden Park in Khanda Colony, New Panvel. We are in Sector 9, specifically unit 703. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. Our office is just a simple room with a few desks, a couple of computers, and a lot of box files. We handle trading, which means a lot of our time is spent on the phone or tracking deliveries. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. I remember when this part of Panvel was just empty fields, but now there are buildings everywhere you look. We moved into Eden Park a while back because it was easier for the trucks to get to us. Usually, we are busy checking invoices or calling up suppliers to see where our stock has reached. We take a lunch break at the same time every day, usually eating out of tiffin boxes we bring from home. Sometimes the lift in the building stops working and we have to climb all the way up to 703, which isn't fun in the heat. We don't have a big logo or any bright lights outside. It’s just a place where we come to get the daily trading done. We’ve built a decent life here just by staying consistent with our work every day.
