People have been coming to our spot at 44 Fort for a long time now. We’re tucked inside the Great Western Building, right across from the Lions Gate. It’s a busy area with all the Navy folks and office workers running around outside. Inside our office, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of paper. We handle flight bookings and travel stuff for anyone who walks in. The building itself is old, but it has character. You can hear the traffic from outside, but it gets quieter once you step into our space. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones won't stop ringing, but that’s just how it goes here. We aren't doing anything fancy. We just sit here, look at routes, and try to find the right flights for people going home or on vacation. Shaikh Hirjis Pole is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. Most people just use the Lions Gate landmark to find us. We open up early and stay until the work is done. It’s not a big corporate setup with glass walls or anything. Just a regular place where we drink a lot of tea and talk to customers about where they want to go. Every day is different depending on who walks through the door. Some days are slow, other days we can't catch a break. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same.
