Our place is in Room 465 over in Navi Mumbai. It’s a simple spot for Airkom Electronics to run things. We spend most of our hours here dealing with different electronic components and basic repairs. The building is usually quite active, so there’s always something happening in the halls. Navi Mumbai is growing fast, and we’ve seen a lot of changes since we first started out in this room. It’s not a big corporate office with a lobby or anything like that. It’s just where we keep our equipment and do the bench work. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we just take the stairs to get things moving. The workspace is filled with soldering irons, testers, and boxes of parts that we use every day. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or high-tech. Just a local group that knows their way around a circuit board. People from around the neighborhood know where to find us when they have a technical issue. We keep the doors open and stay busy. Sometimes it gets a little cluttered when a big shipment comes in, but we clear it out eventually. Working in electronics takes a lot of patience and steady hands. We take our time with the repairs. It's quiet work mostly, except for the occasional radio playing in the background. We like it this way. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied throughout the week.
