Air Smith Cooling Systems

Air Smith Cooling Systems is located at 568 Mahim Main Road. We are right opposite the Mahim Industrial Estate, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. The shop is mostly filled with parts, copper pipes, and old units that we’ve taken apart. It’s a bit of a squeeze to walk through the back sometimes because there’s so much gear everywhere. Being on the main road means there is a lot of dust and noise from the buses going past every few minutes. We spend half the day out on calls and the other half here at the bench fixing whatever was brought in. Cooling is something people only think about when it stops working, so we get a lot of panicked visits when the weather gets really hot. The walls in here could use a fresh coat of paint, but we usually have too many machines in the way to get to them. There’s always a faint smell of oil and cleaning chemicals in the air. We keep a small kettle for tea in the corner because the days can get long, especially during the peak of summer. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big showroom. It’s just the shop floor and our tools. Most of the people who come to us are locals or workers from the industrial estate across the way. We’ve been working from this Mahim spot for years and know the street like the back of our hand. We just keep things running.
