Tulsi Castings & Machining Ltd.

We spend most of our time over here in Office No. 3 at the Aidun Building. If you’ve been to A - Block before, you probably know where we are located. It’s not exactly a fancy place, just where we handle the paperwork and talk to folks about their specific orders. Down at Tulsi Castings & Machining Ltd., we have a lot going on with the metal work and the machines running through most of the day. Some mornings it gets pretty loud and there is usually some metal dust on the floor, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making parts. We deal with all sorts of different castings every week. Some of the pieces are small enough to hold in one hand, while others take a whole lot more muscle and planning to move. My desk is usually covered in old drawings and notes from customers who need things done yesterday. We try to keep everything organized, but when several machines are running and the phone starts ringing, it gets a bit hectic. It's been this way for a long time now. Most of the staff have been here long enough that they know the sound of the equipment better than they know their own cars. We just focus on getting the machining finished so people can use what we make. Sometimes a job takes longer than we expected because the metal is being stubborn, but we stay late to finish.
