Ahura Corporation is tucked away in Mahalaxmi. It’s a part of town that feels like old Mumbai. We’ve been operating from here for a long time. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it’s home for us. We do our daily business without much fuss. The area is always humming with activity, especially with the station nearby. We don't spend money on big advertisements. Most people who deal with us have known us for years. It’s just how things work in this neighborhood. You walk in and you’ll see us at our desks, probably surrounded by stacks of paper. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a front desk person. You just come in and talk to whoever is free. Mahalaxmi has changed a lot with the new towers coming up, but our corner feels the same as it did ten years ago. We value the relationships we’ve built. It’s just a straightforward operation. We handle the work as it comes in and try to stay organized. Some days are slower than others, which is fine by us. We’ve seen the city grow around us while we just stayed focused on our own little patch. It’s a decent place to be. We don’t have a mission statement or any of that stuff people write on their walls. Our goal is just to finish the day's work and be back again by nine. The furniture is a bit mismatched because we bought it at different times. It doesn't look like a magazine cover, but it’s comfortable enough for our daily needs.
