Ahmedali Fakhruddin & Company

We are located at Shop 78 in the Hussaini Building. It is right on Sandhut Road in Chira Bazar. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets around here. It is an old part of the city and things are packed in pretty tight. Ahmedali Fakhruddin & Company has been operating out of this small space for a long time. The street outside is always full of people, carts, and noise. It is never really quiet until very late at night when the shops close up. Inside the shop, it is mostly shelves filled with all kinds of stuff. We have to use a ladder for the high parts because the ceiling is tall. It is a bit cramped, especially when we have a few people inside at once. The SV part of the address can be a bit confusing for some, but we are right there in the middle of the bazar. We usually have the radio playing low in the background, though you can barely hear it over the traffic outside. Work is just about talking to whoever walks in and finding what they need. Some people have been coming here for years, others are just passing through Chira Bazar for the first time. It is a lot of manual work, moving stock and writing down notes in the ledger. We do not use any fancy systems, just the way we have always done it. It is just a regular day-to-day business.
