Advocate Harjit

The office is over on V P Road at Roshmont, specifically at Guru Niwas. It’s a bit of a specific address to find if you aren't familiar with Survey No. 257/4/12. We spend a lot of time surrounded by law books and thick folders full of legal documents. It’s not like the courtrooms you see on television. It’s mostly just quiet reading and writing. The fan overhead has a bit of a wobble, but it keeps the air moving while we work. People come in with their problems, usually looking for some help with paperwork or a dispute. We listen, take notes, and try to figure out what the next step should be. It’s a lot of back and forth with the courts and other offices. The desk is usually a mess of staplers, pens, and yellow legal pads. We’ve been at this location for a while now. It’s a steady rhythm of morning meetings and afternoon filing. Sometimes the coffee gets cold before we have a chance to drink it because a client stayed longer than expected. That’s just the way it goes here. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a big mahogany table. Just a practical space to get the legal work done. It’s a lot of reading fine print and making sure everything is filed by the deadline. We just stay focused on the cases we have on hand and try to get through the daily pile of work.
