Advanced Materials & Tribology

Our place, Advanced Materials & Tribology, is located at 114 in the Sundaram Industrial Estate. This is just off Bksd Marg in Deonar, right next to the Usv Ltd. building. It is a bit of a tucked-away spot, but once you find the estate, we are right there among the other units. The work we do involves a lot of testing and looking at different materials, so the office and lab space are usually full of samples and various testing machines. It is not the kind of place that looks like a high-end office; it is more of a working lab where things are constantly being moved around. The air in Deonar can be a bit heavy sometimes because of all the industrial activity nearby, but we have been here for a long time. Our daily routine is mostly about checking data and running trials on the materials we have. Sometimes the machines are loud, and other times it is just the sound of people writing down notes. We are not big on corporate talk or fancy presentations. We just show up, do the research, and handle the tribology side of things. It is a very focused environment. Being next to a big company like Usv means there is always movement on the road outside. We just stay busy in our unit, making sure everything is handled properly and the results are accurate.
