Adlabs Films Ltd

If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic near the Kohinoor Continental Hotel in Andheri East, you’ve probably been pretty close to us. Adlabs Films Ltd is on the second floor of the Meadows Building inside Sahar Plaza. Being in J. B. Nagar means it’s always busy around here. Mumbai never really stops, and neither does the noise from the street below our windows. We have a decent-sized space, but it’s mostly filled with stacks of paperwork and gear rather than anything sleek or modern. It’s a typical Andheri office where space is tight but we make it work. Most of us take the train or the metro because parking around Sahar Plaza is a bit of a nightmare on a good day. We have been in this building for some time now, and we know the tea stall guy and the security guards pretty well. It’s a fast-paced environment, which fits the film industry, I guess. We spend a lot of time on phones and computers. It isn't a glamorous setup despite being in the film business. It’s just a place where we put in the hours and try to stay on top of our deadlines. Sometimes the elevator in Meadows acts up, so we end up taking the stairs to the second floor, which is good exercise anyway. It's a practical office for a practical team, right in the middle of everything.
