Aditya Telecome

Aditya Telecome has been on J M Road 2 for a while now. I remember when this street was much quieter than it is today. Now, there are bikes parked everywhere. Our shop is easy to spot because of the bright light we have near the door. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with boxes of different phone brands and a bunch of cables. I spend a lot of time explaining how different features work to the older folks who live nearby. They trust us because we’ve been here so long. The floor tiles are a bit chipped near the entrance, but nobody seems to mind. We have a small fan that rattles when it’s on high speed, but it keeps us cool enough during the summer months. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we have to restart the router three times. It’s frustrating but we deal with it. I have a notebook where I write down what people are looking for if we don't have it in stock. Then I try to get it by the next Tuesday. We don't do any big advertising or anything. People just see the sign when they go to the market and come in to ask prices. It is a decent living and we know almost everyone on this block by name. J M Road is a busy place, but inside the shop, it’s just us talking about mobile phones and data plans for hours.
