You will find us on the 4th floor of Podar Chamber, which is over at 109- S. A. Brelvi Road in the Fort area. If you know South Mumbai, you know how these old buildings are. The elevators are sometimes a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying too much. The office itself is No. 4. It has those high ceilings that you only see in these historic parts of the city. Outside, the streets are always packed with people and vendors, and the noise of the traffic never really stops. Inside, though, it is mostly quiet except for the hum of the old air conditioner. We have been in Fort for quite some time. It is a place with a lot of history, and our office feels like it has seen many years of work. We keep our records in metal cabinets and use simple wooden desks. There is no fancy reception area with a screen; just a desk where whoever is closest will help you out. Lunch usually comes from one of the nearby stalls, or we bring dabbas from home and eat together. It is a bit cramped with all the files, but we know where everything is. We don't try to look like a big corporate firm because we are just a small group trying to stay on top of our paperwork. It is a solid, honest place to work right in the middle of everything.
