The shop at Gamdevi 12 is where I spend almost all my time. Adinath Electronics is full of old parts, soldering irons, and screens that need fixing. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but that’s how I work best. People bring in their broken radios or televisions, and I tell them to give me a few days to look at the circuits. The light in here is a bit dim because I prefer the small desk lamp when I’m working on tiny wires. Gamdevi is a busy area, so there’s always people poking their heads in to ask questions about a bulb or a battery. I’ve been doing this for years and my hands have the scars from old burns to prove it. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass cases. It’s a working shop where things actually get repaired. I have a small stool behind the counter where I sit when the street gets quiet. Most of my customers are neighbors who have been coming to me since they were kids. I don’t use any high-tech systems to keep track of repairs, just a paper logbook and a pen. It works fine for me. Sometimes I stay late because a job is harder than I thought it would be. That’s just the way it is when you’re dealing with old electronics that don’t want to cooperate.
