Adeshwar Enterprise

Adeshwar Enterprise is situated at 184 Nagdevi Street, right in the heart of Masjid Bunder. If you’ve ever been to Nagdevi Street, you know how crowded it gets with all the hardware shops and people moving around. Our place is no different. It’s a small shop packed with stuff from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it feels like there isn’t enough room to breathe, but we like the energy of the market. We’ve been here for years, and the walls show it. There is always the sound of carts being pushed and people shouting outside. We just sit here and handle the daily trade. It’s a very old-fashioned way of doing things. We write everything down in ledgers and talk to customers face to face. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of fans that have seen better days. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. It’s just us and the inventory. Most of our day is spent looking for items in the back or talking to suppliers on the phone. It’s a tough place to work because of the heat and the noise, but we are used to it by now. Masjid Bunder is where we belong. It’s not pretty and it’s definitely not polished, but it’s real work. We open early and close late most days. You can usually find us sitting on the small stools by the counter, waiting for the next person to walk in.
