Adecco India

Adecco India has an office situated in Andheri East, right in the Kalachowki area. It is a part of the city that never seems to slow down, with people always on the move between the different office complexes. Our space is quite plain, with white walls and rows of desks that are usually covered in files and notes. It isn't a very exciting place to look at, but it is where we do our daily work of talking to people about their jobs. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting across from folks who are looking for a new start. We try to be direct and honest with everyone who walks through the door. There is no point in making things sound better than they are. The building we are in is a bit older, so the plumbing can be noisy and the lights sometimes flicker when the heavy machinery in the next unit starts up. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for making tea, which is the most popular spot in the office during the rains. Most of us have been working here for quite a while, so we have a good rhythm going. We aren't a big, cold corporation; we are just a team of people trying to make sense of the job market for our neighbors. The traffic in Andheri East can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we often stay a bit later just to let it clear out. It’s a standard office life, nothing more and nothing less.
