We’re tucked away in Autumn Grove on Maninagar Cross Road in Kandivali East. Our office is up on the seventh floor, room 706. It’s a management consultancy, which sounds a bit more complicated than it actually is. Mostly we just help other companies figure out their staff and how to run things better. We spend a lot of time on calls or sitting in meetings around a small table. The office is quiet compared to the street below. We have some files, a few laptops, and a lot of coffee cups lying around by the end of the day. It’s not a massive corporate setup, just a group of us working through spreadsheets and looking at resumes. People come in for interviews sometimes, so we try to keep the front area tidy, but the back desks are usually a bit of a mess with papers. Kandivali East is a good spot for us because it’s easy for people to get to. We’ve been in Autumn Grove for a while now and the security guards know us. It’s a lot of brain work and talking through problems. We don’t have any big slogans or anything, we just look at what a business needs and see if we can help them find the right people or fix a process. It’s steady work and we like the routine of being here every morning, seeing the same faces and doing what we can for the clients who walk in.
