Acer Computers

You can find us on the second floor of 122/124 on Gill Road in Byculla. Room 13 is where we stay. It’s an old building, so the stairs can be a bit of a climb. We’ve been selling and fixing computers here for years. It’s not a flashy store with glass windows. It’s more of a workshop where we keep all the spare parts. We spend most of our time opening up towers or trying to figure out why a motherboard died. Byculla is always moving, and there’s always noise coming up from the street. We’ve got a small window that lets in some air. It's just a couple of us working. We don't have any fancy titles. We just know our way around a PC. Sometimes people call us asking for things we don't have, and we try to point them in the right direction. It’s a tight space with a lot of history. We’ve seen computers go from those big beige boxes to the thin things people use now. We still have some old stuff lying around in the corners. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We just keep our heads down and work. The floorboards creak a little but that's just the character of the place. We don't mind the hum of the cooling fans all day. It’s our second home really. We just take things one computer at a time and do what needs to be done.
