Abra Ka Dabra

The name Abra Ka Dabra usually makes people stop and look twice when they walk down Harianwala Lane. We are tucked away at number 76 in Magarpatta City. It is a busy part of town, but our little corner feels a bit different from the rest of the offices. Inside, it is mostly shelves filled with all kinds of things that might surprise you. We do not have everything organized in a perfect way like those big malls do. You might find a toy next to some stationery or a weird gift item tucked behind a box. We spend a lot of our afternoon just dusting things off and rearranging the window so it looks decent enough for the people walking by. The light in here is not the best, so we use a few extra lamps in the back to see what we are doing. People come in looking for something specific, and half the time they walk out with something else because they saw it sitting on a dusty shelf. We like the noise of the street coming through the door. It makes the day go by faster. When it rains, the lane gets a bit muddy, but people still find their way to us. We are not trying to be anything fancy. We just keep the shop open and wait for the next person to walk in and ask what we have got in stock. It is a simple way to spend the day.
