Our place is tucked away at 361/142 & 180 in the Rahmatnagar Ghaswala Estate. It is right across from the Gita-Fauri Cinema, which is how most people find us when they are coming to Rakhila for the first time. Near Sundram Nagar, the streets can get pretty tight with all the delivery vans. At A To Z Valve Mfg. Co., we spend the whole day surrounded by different types of valves and metal components. It is a noisy environment with the sound of metal hitting metal and the hum of the cooling fans. The floor is usually covered in some kind of industrial dust, but that is just how it is when you are making things out of iron and steel. We have different sections for the various stages of the work, but it all sort of flows together in the end. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we have to wait a bit, which gives us a chance to step outside and see what’s playing at the cinema. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the office look fancy. It is a factory, after all, and we mostly care about whether the parts fit right and the orders are packed properly. Most of the guys here have lived in this part of town their whole lives. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks that come with running a manufacturing shop in such a crowded area.
