A To Z Plastics

Over at Grant Road, specifically in Phase-2 at unit A/14, you will find A To Z Plastics. It’s a busy part of the city, and the building we are in is always full of activity. Our unit is packed with all kinds of plastic goods, from household items to things used in shops. We have stuff stacked up almost to the ceiling in some parts, which makes moving around a bit of a challenge. You have to know the layout well or you’ll get lost behind a wall of buckets or crates. Most of the day is spent checking what we have in stock and talking to people who need supplies. It’s not a very fancy operation. The floors are concrete and the walls are just plain. We have an old computer on the desk that we use for the accounts, but mostly we just write things down in a big ledger. Grant Road has a lot of energy, and that definitely spills over into our shop. Delivery guys are always coming and going through the A/14 entrance. Sometimes the elevators in the building are out of order, which makes moving the heavy bags of plastic a real pain. We just get through it. It’s a practical business, and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. Most of the time we're just busy counting stock or loading up a van for a local delivery. It's hard work.
