A S Mobile Center

We are based in Govandi, right in Sec 45A. It’s a small shop, honestly. There is just enough space for the main counter and some shelves where we keep phone covers and chargers. Most of the neighbors know where we are if their phone starts acting up or they need a new screen protector. We see the same people almost every day, which is nice. Most of the work is just fixing things that stop working or helping someone get a new sim card set up. The lighting in here isn't the greatest, but we've got a good lamp for the repair work. Sometimes the internet connection acts up, so we just talk with whoever is waiting for their phone. There is a lot of noise coming from the street, but after a few years, you don't even hear it anymore. We don’t have a flashy sign, just the name on the glass. People bring in some really old phones that have been dropped or soaked in water. We take a look and see if anything can be done. It’s never a quiet job. There’s always a phone ringing or someone popping in to ask a quick question. We keep the floor swept, but the dust from the road always finds its way back in. It’s just a normal, everyday shop in a busy part of Govandi. We open up early and stay until the evening light fades. It’s a steady life for us here in the center.
