A M K Legal is on the 4th floor of Podar Chambers. If you are walking down M.K. Amin Marg, you can’t really miss the building, though the entrance is a bit narrow. The elevator in Podar Chambers is one of those old ones that takes its time, so sometimes it is faster just to walk up the stairs if you aren't carrying too many things. Our floor is usually pretty quiet compared to the noisy street down below. We have a few rooms filled with books and files. It is a lot of paper to keep track of, but that is just the nature of legal work. We have been here for a while and the office has that lived-in feel to it. The paint is peeling a bit in the corners and the windows could probably use a good scrub, but we focus more on what is on our desks. It is a small group of us here. We are not trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture or modern art. Most of our day is spent reading through documents or talking things over. Being on M.K. Amin Marg is helpful because it is central for us. We see a lot of the same faces in the building every day. It is a professional environment but in a very grounded, local way. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Just some people working in an office on the 4th floor, doing what needs to be done.
