A. M. Arts is located on the first floor of the Tambawala Building. We are in Room No- 24 on Vasil Khan Marg. This is right off Molana Azad Road in the Nagpada area. It’s an old part of the city, and the building has a lot of character. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep, so it’s a bit of a workout every time we come in. The room itself is packed with all sorts of art supplies and finished pieces. There isn't much empty space left. Nagpada is a lively place with people always on the move and the sound of horns in the distance. We have been working from this room for a long time. It’s a tight space, but everything has its place, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. During the rainy season, the dampness gets into the walls a bit, but we just manage. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the work day in and day out. We usually get our tea from the shop downstairs and watch the world go by for a few minutes. It’s a simple routine. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people just know where the Tambawala Building is and find their way to our door. It’s a practical way to run things, and we like the history of this neighborhood.
