Rainbow Overseas

Rainbow Overseas is right across from the Reserve Police Line at 10-Civil Lines. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the police line is. The building we are in is older, but it has character. I’ve worked here for a long time. My desk faces the window so I can see the people passing by on Civil Lines. It gets quite busy during the day. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly coordination and paperwork for overseas stuff. It’s a lot of emailing and making sure we haven't missed a deadline. I usually get in around nine and start by clearing off the desk from whatever we didn't finish the day before. The office isn't very large. We have some shelves filled with folders and a few old chairs for guests. It feels like a lived-in space. Sometimes we forget to water the plant in the corner, so it looks a bit sad. But the work gets done anyway. Civil Lines is a nice part of town to be in. There are some good places to grab lunch nearby. We aren't trying to be some massive company. We just like doing our job well and keeping things moving. Every now and then the internet goes slow and we have to wait around, but that’s just life. We’ve become part of the scenery around here over the years and we know the neighborhood pretty well.
