Metal World

Metal World is located right across from Springfield School on Delhi Road. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you know where the school is. The road outside is usually quite busy with parents dropping off kids and cars heading into the city. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good bit of time now. Inside the building, it’s mostly just us working with different types of metal. It gets a bit messy sometimes, but that’s what happens when you’re actually making things and cutting material. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anyone in a suit to greet you at the door. Usually, you’ll just find one of us with grease on our hands or a pen behind the ear. We try to keep things simple. If someone walks in asking for something, we see if we can do it. Delhi Road has changed a lot since we first started, with more buildings and noise now. But we’ve stayed in the same spot. The shop is filled with tools and stacks of materials that we use every single day. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable place where people can get their metal work handled. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them ourselves, which takes up time. That’s just part of the job. We like the area, even with the school traffic. It feels like home to us. We’re just regular folks doing our thing day in and day out.
