Splendid Arts India

Down here at Faiz Ganj-7, in the Ghair Said Khan area, you’ll find us at Splendid Arts India. It’s one of those parts of town where there’s always something happening in the streets. We have our workshop where we deal with all the artistic pieces. There’s usually a bit of dust in the air and the smell of whatever materials we are working with that day. It’s not a massive factory, just a place where we put things together. My hands are usually a bit messy by the time lunch rolls around. We’ve got a small team and everyone knows their job. Some days we are just packing things into crates, and other days we are checking the finishing on a new batch. It’s a bit of a maze getting through the lanes to find us if you aren’t from around here. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just the space where the work happens. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat while we are loading up a van. It’s a simple life really. We focus on the art side of things and try to make sure nothing breaks before it leaves the door. The fan in the corner makes a clicking noise that we stopped noticing years ago. It’s just how Splendid Arts India operates, day in and day out. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
