The Taj Stores

The Taj Stores is located on Bhatti Street. It’s a narrow street, but it’s got a lot of history. We’ve been part of this street for a long time now. The shop is small and filled with all sorts of things. Sometimes customers have to squeeze past each other in the aisles, but nobody seems to mind much. We don’t have a big fancy website or a bunch of people in suits running things. It’s usually just a couple of us behind the counter or back in the storage area. We know most of the people who walk through our door by their first names. Bhatti Street can be pretty crowded, especially in the evenings, but that’s when it feels most alive. Our shelves are packed high, and we try to keep a bit of everything on hand. We aren't looking to become a giant chain. We like being a local store where you can find what you need without a lot of fuss. The building itself is old, and we’ve had to fix the roof a few times, but it stays standing. We don’t use any corporate lingo or try to act like we’re something we aren’t. We’re just a store on a busy street, serving the neighborhood as best as we can. Every morning we open up the shutters and start the day, and every evening we close them down. It’s a simple life, but it suits us just fine here on Bhatti Street.
