Rana Overseas

Rana Overseas is located on Peer Gaib Street, right in Bansi Gali. We are quite close to the police chowki, which is the easiest way for people to find us. It’s an old part of the city with narrow lanes where you have to be careful when walking. Our building is a bit tucked away, and the stairs are quite steep. We’ve been here for a long time, dealing with exports of various handcrafted items and textiles. The rooms are usually filled with bundles of cloth and finished pieces waiting to be inspected. We don't have a modern showroom. Instead, we just show people the samples we have on hand in the back room. It’s a family-run thing, so there’s always someone around to help, though we might be busy with a shipment when you arrive. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fans make a bit of a clicking noise, but it’s our home away from home. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching and the patterns to make sure everything looks okay. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. We just rely on the relationships we’ve built with buyers over the decades. Peer Gaib Street is a quiet place in the mornings, but it gets lively later on. We are just happy to be part of the neighborhood and keep the work going.
