R. Kay Exports

R. Kay Exports is located at 12, Saket, in the New Civil Lines area. It is a pretty quiet neighborhood, which is nice for getting work done. Our building is one of the older ones in the lane, but it stays cool in the summer. We spend our time managing shipments and looking over orders. The rooms are filled with boxes and samples of things we send out. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when a big shipment arrives. We have a small staff and everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you might be checking a ledger and the next you are helping move a crate. New Civil Lines is a good place to be because it’s not as chaotic as the main market. We’ve got a couple of old fans that make a lot of noise but they keep the air moving. We don't have any fancy carpets or expensive furniture. It’s just wooden tables and metal chairs. Most people who visit us are regular contacts we’ve known for years. We don't do much in terms of advertising; people just know where to find us in Saket. The work can be repetitive, with all the paperwork and customs details, but it's what we know. We just try to keep things moving along without any major hiccups. That’s how we’ve always run R. Kay Exports since we moved into this building and it works for us.
