Tomar Classes

We have been sitting here at Bachcha Park in Meerut for a good while now. It’s right near Smile Degree College, so you usually see a lot of students walking back and forth past our door. Tomar Classes isn't fancy or anything. We’ve got some desks, whiteboards that never seem to get fully clean, and a few fans that make a bit of a rattle when it gets really hot in the afternoon. Most days, it’s just us and the students trying to figure out the syllabus before the exams start hitting. The traffic outside can get pretty loud, especially during the rush hours, but you get used to it. We started this place because we knew the area well and noticed people needed a spot to sit and study together without much fuss. It isn't always quiet, and sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we keep the books open and keep going. Usually, there’s tea coming in from the shop downstairs around 4 PM, which helps everyone stay awake. We don't have a big office or anything like that. It’s just a couple of rooms where we try to explain things as simply as we can. People come here from all over Meerut, mostly because they know where Bachcha Park is and it’s easy to find us once you’re near the college. It is a very normal, everyday kind of place where we just do our work and hope the students learn something.
