The Original Tutors

Up here on the first floor of Krishna Complex, we’ve got The Original Tutors. It’s right on R G Inter College Road, which gets quite packed in the afternoons. If you know the Chippi Tank area in Meerut, you know how it is. We are pretty close to Shiv Chowk, so it’s easy to give people directions when they’re looking for us. We have been in this location for a good bit of time. It’s not a corporate chain or anything. It’s just us. The rooms aren’t huge, but they fit enough chairs for the groups we have. Sometimes the stairs in the complex are a bit crowded, especially when the college nearby lets out, but we manage fine. We’ve got a few different rooms for different topics. It’s mostly just the basics—pens, paper, and someone explaining things on a board. We don’t have a big reception desk with a fancy computer. Usually, one of us is just sitting there at the entrance to say hello. It feels more like a local spot than a business, to be honest. People stop by to ask about timing or just to see how things are going. It’s been our home in Meerut for years, and we like the neighborhood feel of this street. There’s always someone coming or going, and we just keep the doors open for anyone who needs to sit and study for a while.
