You can find us at 3 Lalkurti in Meerut. We are right opposite the Shani Mandir in Chota Bzr. Being in the middle of a bazaar means there is always noise and people selling things right outside our door. It’s a very traditional part of town. Our space is simple and a bit small, but we’ve managed to fit in enough desks for the groups that come in. We’ve been here in this spot for quite a bit. The walls have some marks from where desks have bumped into them over the years. We don't spend much on decorating; we just keep the lights bright so everyone can see their books. On festival days, the area around the temple gets really crowded, and it takes a bit longer for everyone to get to the door. We usually have a few fans humming in the background to keep the air moving. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We write a lot on the boards and walk around to check what everyone is writing in their notebooks. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation here. We know the families in the neighborhood and often see them walking by the window. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, in this little corner of the market. It’s nothing fancy, just a local tutorial point for the kids nearby. We try to keep things steady even when the street gets really hectic.
