Poonia Competition Classes

Poonia Competition Classes is located in Sai Plaza, which is over in the Kanker Khera neighborhood. It’s a pretty standard commercial building with a lot of different things going on around us. Our setup consists of a few classrooms that we’ve filled with basic wooden benches and whiteboards for the students. We aren't a large institution with a lot of staff; it's mostly just a few of us who handle the teaching and the day-to-day running of the place. The halls of Sai Plaza can get quite loud and chaotic during the afternoon when the classes change over and all the students are moving around at once. We have some old ceiling fans that make a bit of a rattling noise, but they keep the air moving during the hotter months. Most of our work involves preparing lessons and helping students get ready for their various competitive exams. We don’t have fancy brochures or a marketing team to promote what we do. Usually, students come to us because their friends or siblings recommended the place. The classrooms often have a bit of chalk dust on the floor and piles of practice papers on the desks, which shows how much work is being done. It’s a practical environment focused on studying. We’ve been here in Kanker Khera for a while now and we just take things one day at a time, helping whoever comes through our door.
