Sunlight Public School

Our school is situated on Puttha Road, which is just off the main Delhi Road here in Meerut. It’s a pretty easy place to get to, though the traffic in Meerut can be a bit much sometimes. Sunlight Public School has been standing here for a long time now. Most of the families in this part of town know us because their older kids or even they themselves went here. The building is a simple one, with several floors of classrooms. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or high-tech labs. We mostly use books, notebooks, and blackboards to get the teaching done. The hallway can be quite loud when the bell rings and everyone moves to their next class, but that’s just how schools are. We have a small staff of teachers and some office help to keep the records straight. The neighborhood around Puttha Road is a mix of houses and small shops, so it feels very much like a community spot. We try to keep the gates closed during school hours to keep things quiet for the students. It’s a very straightforward operation. We open up early in the morning, do the lessons, have a lunch break, and then finish up in the afternoon. It’s not a complicated life here, but it’s busy. We just focus on making sure the kids show up and do their work every day so they can pass their classes and move on.
