Lakshya Public School

Lakshya Public School sits right on Delhi Road in Baghpat. Since we are on the main road, there is always traffic passing by. It can be a bit noisy with the trucks and buses, but we have gotten used to it over time. The school isn't trying to be anything it’s not. It’s a place for local kids to get their schooling done without having to travel too far into the bigger cities. We have a gate that stays shut during class hours to keep everyone safe. Inside, it’s a lot calmer than the road outside. We have a courtyard where the children assemble every morning. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we rely on the fans a lot. The teachers here are practical people. They don't use big words for no reason. They just teach the subjects and make sure the homework is finished. Sometimes the power goes out, which is normal for this area, but we just carry on with the lessons. We have benches that have seen a lot of use. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but the roof is solid and keeps the rain out. Most parents around here know us by name because we’ve been here for a while. It’s a community school through and through. We just show up every day and do the job that needs doing. There isn't any fancy stuff, just desks, books, and hard work from the staff.
