SHIVA FASTENERS (PVT) LTD.

Shiva Fasteners is located at S-36 and 38 in the Industrial Estate over in Parthapur. We have a couple of units here where we make all kinds of fasteners. It is a typical industrial setup with the sound of cold heading machines and threads being cut all day long. The air usually smells a bit like oil and metal. We have been working out of this estate for quite some time now. Our days are filled with checking the machines and making sure the bins are being filled correctly. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it needs a careful eye so things don't go wrong. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy stories about us. We are just a group of people making nuts and bolts in a factory. The units are simple, with high ceilings and heavy workbenches that have seen a lot of use over the years. Parthapur is an okay place to work, though it gets very dusty when the trucks go by on the unpaved parts of the estate. We usually take our breaks together and talk about the local news or whatever is happening in the city. When the shift ends, we lock up the shutters and head home, ready to do the same thing again tomorrow. It is a steady life and we are glad to have the work to do.
