Rama Transformers Mfg.Co. is located right in Lal Kurti, over in the Bara Bazaar area of Meerut Cantt. It is an old part of the city, and things can get pretty busy around here with the traffic and people moving about. We deal with transformers, which means there is always a lot of copper and heavy parts lying around. It is dusty work, but someone has to do it. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the job done. We spend most of our hours winding coils and checking connections. It is honest work and we have been doing it for quite some time now. You can find us easily if you know the bazaar well. The noise from the street usually drifts inside, but we are used to it by now. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that because word of mouth usually keeps the orders coming in. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, but we just keep working on the manual bits until it comes back. It is a tight-knit team here, just a few guys who have known each other for years. We don’t have any big corporate office, just the floor where the real work happens. It is just a regular local business trying to keep the lights on for everyone else.
