Bright Sewing Machine

We have been at Plot No.1 in Khair Nagar Bazar for quite a while now. Most people around Teli Wali Glai know where the shop is. It is not a very big place but we keep it busy with all sorts of sewing machines. Sometimes the floor is a bit crowded with boxes. My father started this and now I handle the daily work here. We mostly spend our time fixing old machines that people bring in because they don't want to buy new ones. It is dusty work. We have different models, some for home use and some heavier ones for tailors. You can find needles, bobbins, and oil here too. The light in the shop isn't the best in the evening but we manage. People stop by to ask for advice on which thread to use or how to tension their machine properly. We don't really do big advertisements. Most of our customers come because their neighbor told them about us. It gets quite loud when three or four machines are running at the same time to test them out. We open early in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down. If you are walking down Teli Wali Glai, just look for the sign near the corner. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the machines running again so people can get back to their sewing projects at home. The wooden shelves are a bit warped from the humidity, but they hold all the parts we need just fine. Sometimes we have tea with the customers while they wait.
