Harsha Granites

We are located right off NH-5, not too far from the Andhra Bank. Being near a major highway means there is a constant sound of trucks and cars zooming past all day long. Our yard at Harsha Granites is mostly filled with big slabs of stone and piles of granite that we’ve brought in for processing. It’s a dusty place, to be honest. There is always fine powder from the cutting and moving of stones, so our clothes never stay clean for very long. We spend most of our time outside, checking the quality of the blocks or helping load them onto the transport vehicles that stop by. The sun beats down on the open ground here, so we have a small shaded area where we sit and handle the basic paperwork. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have a basic desk and a few chairs for when customers come by to look at samples. Most people find us because they are driving along the highway and see the stacks of granite from the road. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. The work is heavy and physical. Moving these stones takes a lot of care so they don't crack. Sometimes the machines act up or the weather stops us from working outside for a few hours, but we just pick it up the next day. It’s a straightforward life here, just dealing with the earth and the people who need a bit of it for their buildings or homes.
