Venus Coffee

Venus Coffee is located in Kankanadi. We are right near the hospital, which makes it a pretty busy little corner for us. You see a lot of people coming and going at all hours. Some are staff from the hospital in their scrubs, and others are families who look like they’ve had a long night and just need to sit. We just try to keep the coffee hot and the place quiet for them. It’s not a big shop at all. We have a few small tables and some stools by the window that look out onto the street. The traffic outside can get a bit loud, especially when the ambulances go by with their sirens, but inside it stays mostly calm. Kankanadi is a crowded area so parking is always a bit of a mess around here. Most people just walk over from the main building. We don’t have a big fancy menu with things you can't pronounce. It’s just regular coffee and maybe a few biscuits if we have them on the shelf. I spend a lot of time just wiping down the counters and checking the milk supplies. The building is nothing special to look at, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We’ve been here for a good few years now and haven't changed much about the place. It’s just an honest little coffee shop. People know where we are if they need a break. We don't use any loud music or anything like that.
