Cauvery Coffee Traders

Cauvery Coffee Traders is up on the first floor of Pragati Plaza. We are right on Chilimbi Kulur Ferry Road. It’s a busy spot, and the road gets a lot of traffic heading towards the ferry or the port area. You can hear the vehicles going by all day long. The office itself is quite simple. We have a few desks, some sample bags, and the usual office equipment. It’s not a very big space, but it works for what we need. The smell of coffee is often in the air, which isn't a bad way to spend your working hours. We spend a lot of time talking to growers and checking on the latest batches. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure things are where they need to be. We don't have a big sign outside or a fancy lobby. If you want to find us, you just come up the stairs in Pragati Plaza. The walls are a bit plain, and the lighting is just standard fluorescent stuff, but it’s home to us. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we’ve got a good rhythm going. We aren't interested in being the flashiest traders in town. We just want to make sure the beans are moving and everyone we deal with is treated fairly. When the day ends, we lock up and head out into the ferry road traffic like everyone else.
