Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Co. Ltd

Our office is located on Bejai New Road, over in the Sankaigudde area of Mangalore. It's a bit of a long address to write down, but it’s basically just a spot where we handle all the coffee trading stuff. We aren’t a cafe where you can sit and drink a latte; it’s more about the raw beans and the logistics of moving them to different places. The place belongs to the Correas, and we’ve been operating out of here for some time now. There is always a strong smell of raw coffee in the air around the office, which is nice, but it can get a bit much by the end of a long day. We spend most of our hours on the phone or checking the heavy bags of beans that come in from the various estates. It’s a lot of manual work and checking the quality of what we receive. The office isn't very big at all, and it’s often cluttered with little samples and stacks of paperwork. We don't have a fancy sign out front to attract people, just the name of the company on the door. It’s a local operation, and we know most of the people who live and work on this street. Sometimes the traffic on Bejai New Road makes it hard to get the trucks in and out, but we've learned to work around the busiest times. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the coffee where it needs to go next.
