Sira Coffee Club

Sira Coffee Club is right on the Edapally Panvel Highway in Surathkal, at 17/414. Since we are on the highway, we see all kinds of people every day. Some are truck drivers who have been on the road for hours, and others are families on vacation. The shop isn't much to look at, just a sturdy building with a few tables and a counter. It gets very noisy with the sound of the highway right there, so it’s not exactly a quiet place for a nap. We have a small kitchen in the back where we keep things running. It’s just a few of us working here, and we handle everything from the brewing to the cleaning. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights, just a basic board that says our name. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, which makes cleaning up take a little longer than it should. The highway has been expanded a few times since we opened, but we’ve managed to stay in our same spot. It gets very humid here in Surathkal, so we keep the doors and windows open to let the air move through. We don't try to be anything other than a simple stop for people who are traveling. It’s a busy life being on the main road, but we enjoy meeting the different people who pull over for a quick break at our shop.
