S S Marble

You can find S S Marble over at 619, right near the Anupaya School in Japina Muger. Being near the school means things can get a bit hectic during drop-off and pick-up times, but otherwise, it’s a pretty good spot for us. We deal in marble, so there’s always that fine white dust on everything in the shop. We’ve got slabs of all different sizes stacked up. Some people come in looking for a small piece for a shelf, while others are looking for enough to do a whole floor. We don't have a big corporate structure or a team of salespeople. It's usually just a few of us here, moving stones and talking to whoever walks through the door. Japina Muger is our home base, and we like being part of the local community. We aren't trying to be the biggest marble supplier in the world, just a reliable one for the people who live and work around here. The work is hard on the hands, and we spend a lot of time lifting and shifting heavy materials. It’s a practical life. We keep an eye on the stock and try to have a good variety of patterns. Every slab of marble is a bit like a painting, so people spend a lot of time looking through the stacks. We just let them take their time and help out when they have a question. We’ve been at 619 for quite some time now.
