You’ll find Jay Shree Shaym Marbles right on N.H. 17 in Kulai. We are positioned directly opposite Mahaballa Hospital, which makes it very easy to give directions. Being on a national highway means there is always a lot of movement. The trucks rumble past all day and night. Our yard is full of marble slabs stacked up in rows. It’s a dusty job, and we spend a lot of time with the hose, washing down the stone so people can see the real colors and veins in the marble. We don't have a big fancy showroom with air conditioning. It’s just us, the stone, and the open air. Customers usually pull over from the highway, take a look around, and we chat about what they need for their projects. It’s a very hands-on business. We help load the stones and make sure everything is tied down right so nothing breaks on the road. The hospital across the way is a big landmark, so we get people stopping by who saw us while they were over there. It’s a straightforward life here in Kulai. We don’t use any complex sales tactics. We just show the marble, tell the price, and get to work. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but that’s just how a marble yard on the highway is. We like it that way and just keep doing our thing.
