Core Computer

You can find us in the basement floor of the Shree Mangala building, right on Mangaladevi Temple Road. We are directly opposite the IOC Petrol Bunk, which is usually how people find us if they’re coming from the temple side. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, but we don't get much sunlight during the day. We’ve been working with computers here for quite some time now. The shop is filled with parts, cables, and screens that are waiting to be looked at. It’s a bit of a cluttered space, but that’s the nature of repair work and dealing with electronics. We spend most of our time hunched over desks with screwdrivers and testing equipment. It’s not a polished retail store with bright lights; it’s a workshop where things actually get fixed. The traffic on Mangaladevi Temple Road can be quite loud, especially during the festival times when the temple is busy, but we just keep our heads down and work. We see a lot of local students and office workers who bring in their laptops when something goes wrong. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us handling the technical stuff as it comes in. It gets a bit dusty with all the fans running, but we do our best to keep it tidy. It’s a solid little spot for what we do.
