Ahamed Fahad

We are located at Fathima Manzil on Britto Road. If you know Falnir in Mangalore, you know it’s a place where things are a bit more relaxed compared to the big crowded cities. Ahamed Fahad isn't some huge corporation with hundreds of employees. We started right here in this building, and we haven’t felt the need to move anywhere else. The weather here can be quite something, especially during the monsoon months when the rain just doesn't seem to stop for days. I spend my days mostly at the desk, looking out at the street. Britto Road has changed a lot over the years, with new shops opening up all the time, but our spot stays pretty much the same as it was. We don’t have a lot of rules here. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and head home to our families in the evening. It’s a practical way to live. Sometimes the internet goes out or the power cuts for an hour, but that is just part of being in Mangalore-1. We have a few extra chairs for visitors, though we don't get many walk-ins. Mostly it is just us and the sounds of the neighborhood. I like that I can walk to the local shops if I need a quick snack or a tea. It’s an honest life. We aren't trying to be the biggest. We just want to do our bit and keep everything running while staying close to home and family.
